Waiting – Just for you.

Clocks are ticking and time is moving,
Yet just for you, I am here waiting.
Seasons pass and cycles repeat again,
Yet just for you, I’ll wait even in vain.

I see flowers blooming in their prime,
And again I see them wilting with time.
I see my friends in pairs, happy as can be,
Yet just for you, I’ll keep myself free.

I’ve waited through passages of time,
And I’ve long since passed my prime.
Yet just for you, I’ll wait once more.
For it’s you and you alone that I adore.
